Where Are You Now?

If you read my previous blog posts, you’ll know that I worked in an organization called YWAM, or Youth With A Mission, in Louisville, KY. I don’t state it clearly in my posts, but I’m no longer with YWAM. Why? Because once Will and I got engaged we knew it was time to set off with what we’ve learned and learn some more! And that’s for real- when you work for the Lord, and live a missions centered life, you have to respond to the call to go, even if it’s not very specific.

Currently, we live in a small village in Amish Country, Ohio. I am staying at home with our daughter, and Will is working for a locally owned constriction company that works on houses. When we were nudged to live here, I was so confused and disappointed to live in a small town. God was so specific and so gentle in guiding us to make this decision that no other choice would have felt right. We were called here to learn how to love people. And we still are here to do just that.

We won’t be here forever, but it’s our first stop in the road that’s marked out for us. If you stay posted, you’ll get to see where we go next.
